First Mission Trip -- Jamaica Summer before 8th Grade

	Chicago Inner City Ministry while attending Wheaton College

	Guatemala Mission Trips July 2001 & 2002 My personal focus was on involving the "sending" church members with the "going" team members. While there we put on a kids camp .



	Began Helping Drive Kids from Apartment Complex to Northwest Bible Church for Sunday School (Fall 2001)

	Started weekly visits (May 2002) with the kids after work for games or crafts

First "Hidalgo" Backyard Bible Club organized by Family Ministry from Northwest Bible Church (August 2002) (following July 2002 Guatemala trip)

		Journal Entry from Saturday, September 28, 2002: “I was just praying about the Hidalgo ministry and I had a thought: this is what I’ve been waiting my whole life for--to be used for something of significance spiritually.


		Joining a Missions Organization? After several years coordinating the volunteer team while working fulltime elsewhere, I began exploring missions organizations. I ended up with CAM International.

	Completed Missionary Orientation and had "Appointee" Status with CAM (July 2005)

	I finish my requirements and become "Official" Full-time* CAM Missionary no longer a CAM "Appointee" (Oct. 2, 2008)

	Phil and Susan, who helped recruit me, with Steve (Appointee Supervisor) watch to make sure I sign my last document.

* Since February 2007, I have been working limited hours for ExecuTrain. At this point I am wrapping up final projects and will be fulltime with CAM, focused on coordinating the Hidalgo Ministry and raising the remainder of my monthly financial support need.
