Easter Celebration at Hidalgo

On April 19, 2003, the S.E.E.K. Class* at Northwest Bible Church sponsored an Easter Party for the Hidalgo kids. 

We had a wonderful turnout with 76 kids joining in the fun. About 20 parents came out with their kids as well. We had 35 volunteers from Northwest Bible Church helping out with crafts, a gospel station, the Easter story, Easter egg hunts, and a few playing basketball with the Jr. High age kids. At the end, Amado Lozano spoke to the group (focused on the parents) with several responses afterwards.

In addition, another Spanish-speaker who had no transportation asked about being brought to church. As a result, Amado will begin leading a Bible study in Spanish for the parents beginning on May 6.

Special thanks to the SEEK class for organizing the event, the Timothy class for provision of snacks, preschoolers and their families for providing and filling eggs, and all the rest of the NBC family that sacrificed time, donations, and effort in support of this event.
